CONNECT 17 has been organized into four tracks developed to support finding solutions to key pain points experienced in the financial industry. All tracks provide sessions that give your institution insight into Q2 technologies, vision, and roadmaps.

Michael Rogers is an internationally-known futurist, author, speaker and technology pioneer who most recently served as futurist-in-residence for The New York Times. He also writes the popular Practical Futurist column for MSNBC and is a best-selling novelist whose fiction explores the human impact of technology.
Michael is a different kind of futurist—one who combines real business experience with technology skills. Michael studied physics and creative writing at Stanford University with additional training in finance and management at the Stanford Business School Executive Program. He has worked with companies ranging from FedEx, Boeing, Microsoft, Pfizer and American Express, as well as both NASA and the Department of Defense. Add to that the keen eye of an award-winning investigative journalist and the storytelling skill of a novelist, and you have The Practical Futurist.
Matt is a visionary leader known by employees and customers alike for his authentic, engaging, and quick-witted communications style. Matt appreciates meeting directly with customers and prospects while utilizing his inquisitive nature to uncover new and innovative ways for Q2 to improve their business and create growth.
Matt currently serves as CEO of Q2. From 2012 to 2016, he held the dual roles of President and CEO. Before this he was responsible for sales, marketing, and business development for both Q2 and the previous holding company, CBG Holdings, Inc.
During his tenure at Q2, he’s been a significant contributor to the growth and strategic direction of the organization. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including sales and banking operations, Matt is intensely determined to help regional and community-focused financial institutions compete with the Mega and money center banks.
Matt received his degree from Baylor University.
As Chief Security Officer, Bob is responsible for all audit, risk, and compliance activities – as well as overseeing the delivery and execution of Q2’s overall information security strategy. He specializes in risk management and assessment, compliance and regulatory management, product development, disaster recovery, and incident response.
Bob’s experience in financial services industry spans 35 years, including 20 years in leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has maintained a consistent record of exceeding goals and driving productivity in high-growth environments. Prior to joining Q2, Bob was Executive Vice President of Client Operations at Continuity and Head of Audit Risk & Compliance at Fiserv. He is also a polished speaker, providing keynote presentations to over 4,000 participants at Fiserv Forum and Continuity’s 1st annual client conference.
Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
As President, Odus is responsible for all operational functions at Q2, ensuring the delivery of products and services, and overseeing the execution of sales, marketing, product, development, and operations initiatives.
Odus brings more than 20 years of experience as an enterprise-level organizational leader to Q2. Prior to accepting the role of Q2's President, Odus served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cloud Office and Mailgun business units for Rackspace; before that he led their Americas Business Unit, and was responsible for sales and service delivery for the Rackspace Hybrid Cloud portfolio in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. During his Tenure at Rackspace, he oversaw its growth from a fifty-million-dollar company to a business valued at two billion dollars.
Odus holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA from Harvard University.
His passionate belief that technology can and will change the lives of people, businesses, and financial institutions everywhere is what sets Adam apart from other CTOs. Because of this, Adam pours himself into developing talented, curious, and creative self-starters willing to tackle financial services technology in new ways.
As CTO, Adam is responsible for creating and coordinating the company's technology strategy, while supporting the teams at Q2 responsible for customer satisfaction and technology innovation.
An established player in global IT, Adam brings more than 10 years of technology and software management expertise to Q2, including his management role at CipherTrust, the leading provider of enterprise class email security solutions, where he was the Vice President responsible for product development, customer support, and professional services. He also made distinct contributions to Q UP Systems and Servana.com as Vice President of Internet Operations. Adam was also the Chief Network Engineer for Harte-Hanks Response Management in Austin, Texas.
Blue holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Indiana University. He has also completed graduate work in Computational Economics at the University of Texas.
Will brings his passion and insight to the role of Q2's Chief Strategy Officer, where he is responsible for determining forward-looking growth strategies for the company. As CSO, Will also leads Q2 Labs, Q2's innovation-focused product group.
Will joined Q2 from IF marketing & advertising and brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, product and business development. Serving in the role of President of IF marketing & advertising, he led IF to become a Top 5 Austin area boutique marketing and advertising agency. Will first joined Q2 as the SVP of Marketing, where he was instrumental in rebranding, repositioning and preparing the organization for its successful initial public offering (IPO). After the IPO, Will transitioned into the role of Senior Vice President of Product for Q2, where he led the acquisition of key product and design talent, delivery of innovative products, and establishment of the user-centric product design discipline across the organization.
Prior to founding IF marketing & advertising, Will was Director of Web Technologies for S1 Corporation. He also played quarterback in the National Football League for six seasons. Will holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Virginia Tech where he proudly serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and has held positions on the Distinguished Alumni Board for English. In addition to service to his alma mater, Will was recently inducted in the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame (Football 1988-1991).
